@thicks22 uh hey. yeah, i see your point. Thanks for being nice about it too. Thing is, I don't hate punks and goths because those are legitimate cultures. And yes, I suppose Emo and scene are cultures too, but the thing that gets me about those two is the fact that let's say half (not all) scene/emo kids always want to play the victim, instead of doing something for themselves. They (again, not all) sit around behind screen, wallowing in their self-pity when they could be putting their time to better use. Depressed? Seek professional help instead of telling everybody, hoping for sympathy. It's hard, yes I know, but it helps in the long run. Complaining about it to anyone who listens is not going to get you anywhere, sorry to say. It sounds harsh but it's the truth. At least punks and goths stand for something. But yeah, i don't want to argue either. You seem nice anyway. One more thing: I don't HATE scene/Emo kids, despite my name; I just find it stupid and pretty damn pathetic to whine and bitch about how hard your life supposedly is instead of doing something about it. And yes, I totally understand if people suffer from real mental problems like depression, anxiety and stuff but a lot of people out there aren't even clinically diagnosed. If you've been clinically diagnosed, fine, I'll back off because I know what it's like, but pretending to go through all these real-life mental issues just because your boyfriend of six months dumped your ass or because your parents don't 'understand' you is downright pathetic and disgusting. That's where the problems come in for me. You're not depressed if you're having a bad day. You don't have anxiety if you're just a little shy. No. I'm very sorry, but that's where the line is drawn. But anyway, again, you seem nice enough. I'm glad this didn't go down the other route, which usually includes major cap-locks and curses. x
