So first of all, you need some followers. You need atleast 5 people following you. Usually it would be like you follow them and they'll follow you back or they might not follow you at all. So to have reads, you need followers.
2. you need good content for your books. It's not easy and I know ;-;
3. For me. If I want people to know about me, i'd read a lot of books and also leave some comments here and there. Curiosity is a trait humans cannot get rid off. So using that, they would want to know who you are and what you're doing. So that's one thing. Like for example, I found out about this author called DeathByShyKid when I saw their book in a reading list. Something like that.
4. Follow people, make reading lists and advertise. You can add subtle hints that you have written books as well so that would really help out.
