Also to reiterate no hate towards the creators they were all very kind and understanding they all apologized (I know some of them erased the slur the others I don't remember) sorry for the long ass rant we live in such a shitty world that gives zero fucks about marginalized people and seeing marginalized people be hateful towards each other is annoying and useless

It's also so ironic how this happens on gay fanfics(that's what I mainly read) like you as marginalized people should not be acting like you are the only people that can be hurt by slurs you are not the only marginalized people. Instead of getting defensive for ur use of slurs learn and grow up. Believe it or not u are not exempt from being a bigot just because u are also marginalized . I'm indigenous Mexican I'm gay I'm trans I'm two spirit I'm autistic and have ADHD and have a multitude of mental illnesses and I have said bigoted things before but guess what I learned and I listened and I grew the fuck up. We also need to stop this idea that just because you aren't using slurs with the intent of it being a slur that ur just suddenly allowed to use it NO it's still a slur no matter how u use it it is still harmful you are normalizing the use of the word it's not that fucking hard to just not use a fucking slur. Also if u see one of my comments don't put some bullshit like" they don't care ur wasting ur time" idc when people see slurs they get uncomfortable when I see slurs I get uncomfortable it's gross.also ur acting like I'm not already wasting my time by reading fanfics it takes 10 seconds to write a I'm good. If u feel defensive unpack that why do u feel so defensive when I say something is a slur unpack ur comfortability with staying ignorant unpack the way u are so okay with hurting other marginalized people I hope y'all do better genuinely it's so disappointing when marginalized people hate each other when we should be sticking together and helping eachother.
It's really funny when people get mad at u for going into the comments on a fan fiction to tell the creator that they used a slur(I'm never mean to the creators when I tell them it's literally just so they know in the future to not use it) like y are u mad are u mad because now u can't use it without being criticized? Or is it because now whenever u use it you'll feel guilty or do u feel guilty because u've used it before? Instead of attacking me for informing you that people of those marginalized communities have told people that aren't part of those communities to stop using slurs used against them maybe you can get some fucking empathy and educate urself on why these words are harmful. Btw none of the creators I've told about their use of a slur has said anything rude or bigoted and has apologized for their use of the slur it's always random commentors. Only the creators who ignore my comment that these commentors think it's appropriate to be bigoted(ableist, racist, ect..)
