@Ayanokoji1092 If this current tale, which I have carefully constructed for a slow, deep burn, proves too leisurely for your taste, allow me to act as your personal curator through the darker corridors of my collection. But do bear in mind, my curious guest—these are not dusty relics of the past, but living things. They are all still in the chrysalis, incomplete symphonies of madness that I am currently weaving into existence, stroke by bloody stroke.
If you crave the relentless, metallic shriek of carnage, you simply must pay a visit to Razors Rhythm House; it moves with the terrifying velocity of a jagged blade, and I daresay it will satisfy that need for speed, even as I continue to sharpen its gears. Or, perhaps you would prefer the biting, potent horrors within my Compendium of Creeps, Chills, and Cryptids—it is a delightful smorgasbord of nightmares, served in the smaller, punchier portions you might find more appetizing, still raw and bleeding ink onto the page. And should you require a clinical, urgent malaise that cuts straight to the bone, Roses and Rot is waiting to perform its surgical procedures upon your sensibilities while the current story prepares for its next... explosive moments.

All of them are, at this very moment, works in progress—fever dreams that I am currently laboring over in the quiet, witching hours.

I truly do appreciate that you’ve wandered into my library at all. It is a rare honor to have such an attentive guest, and I am quite flattered that you are investing your time in my work, however challenging the pacing may be. Do explore these other halls; I suspect you shall find them quite... agreeable to your constitution, even in their unfinished, quivering state

My dear, inquisitive soul. I find your feedback... illuminating. Truly. There is such a charming, frantic brevity in your request—a hunger for the 'action' that so often distracts the restless mind from the creeping reality of the shadows. Me

I must, however, politely decline your invitation to hasten the pace. You see, when one is crafting a true masterpiece of atmospheric decay, one cannot simply sprint toward the inevitable end. I find great pleasure—a rather intoxicating sort of pleasure—in the slow, deliberate layering of the world and the intimate, painful excavation of a character’s psyche.
If you find the duration of our journey tiresome, I fear the fault may lie not in the length of the chapter, but in the limits of your own endurance. Some stories, much like certain fine, aged poisons, require time to properly settle within the bloodstream. If you wish to depart the table before the meal is concluded, you are, of course, quite welcome to do so. But for those who stay? They shall witness the exquisite precision of the inevitable.

I hear your plea, and I find it quite quaint. However, the path I have laid out remains unchanged. It is long, it is dark, and it is entirely necessary. I do hope you decide to stay; the view from the end of the labyrinth is quite spectacular.

P.S. Do forgive the sharpness of my tongue; I am, in truth, quite genuinely honored that you have chosen to walk these halls at all. To have one’s work observed—even by those who find the pace... challenging—is a compliment I do not take lightly. Pray, do stay a while longer. The shadows have a way of growing on you

@ilikezombies_99 oh and yk i read your zombie story, and ngl, am so mesmerized by your wordings, damnn you write like a professional (lol who knows maybe you are a professional).
And yk there was one of my personal opinion, your story has 5 chapters around right? and the read time, if you check on wattpad is 2h 37 min or smth
well i just have a feeling that yk the reading time of viewers decrease when they dont get fast paced storyline
cuz this isnt a movie with visuals, people here are reading and just waiting for the next plot, so ig you can try shortening the span and pacing of chapters
well i loved your story, damnnn
