Hi guys!
          I’m sorry for the slow updates lately! Don’t worry though, I fully intend to finish all my stories and not leave you hanging :) 
          
          Both Honey and the Blade and Whispers of a Fading Moon are getting closer to the finish line, and lately I’ve been thinking in more detail about how I want them to end and what happens in the final chapters leading up to it.
          
          I’m such a sucker for endings that aren’t boring or predictable, so I’ve been hesitating a bit, trying to decide if I should really end them the way I’m currently planning…

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to pop in with a quick message.
          
          I’ve noticed some comments on my active books from readers feeling impatient about the romance, or upset that some of the male characters are toxic, mean, or flawed in other ways.
          
          First of all, I love writing romance as a slow burn. It just feels more realistic to me. I know my way of writing might be extra slow, but honestly, I’m having the best time making it the slowest slow burn ever.  Sorry for torturing you all… but also, not really sorry.
          
          Secondly, when I started writing, it was because I was so over reading the same story on repeat: bad boy is secretly a misunderstood angel, turns perfect overnight, saves the day, everyone claps. The end.
          
          I wanted something different. I wanted characters who aren’t 100% innocent, noble, or brave, because, let’s be honest, real life doesn’t work like that. Sometimes people are selfish. Sometimes they completely miss what their partner needs. And sometimes life itself just… sucks.
          
          So, if you’re frustrated with how Kieran, Lazlo, Rhadrian, or Philip act (okay, let’s be real, nobody has high hopes for Philip… the bar is in the basement for him), just know I do it on purpose. I don’t want them to be perfect. I like a little drama and a few imperfections. And who knows what will happen in the future...
          
          So, I hope you’re enjoying my stories for what they are, and I’m so grateful for everyone reading along!
