guys i lwk need some help
          does anyone have any advice on hiding a laptop in my room? my parents frequently search my room and i need somewhere to hide it so they won’t find it.

i don’t understand why people are so quick to defend j.k. rowling. she is not a good person whatsoever. being racist, homophobic, and transphobic is not okay. 
          people are also extremely quick to deny everything she’s ever said that’s problematic, which i don’t understand either. 
          “naming a chinese character cho chang isn’t problematic!!” as a chinese-american girl, yes, it most certainly is. i grew up hearing things like this in school, in public spaces, on tv- it’s not okay. it further perpetuates stereotypes. and don’t say it’s not that deep because it most certainly is.
          “trans people aren’t valid!! (insert reason)!!” TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN. TRANS MEN ARE MEN. biological sex does not negate identity. the identity of a trans person does not harm ANYONE. 
          being open and kind are the two most important things in life. acceptance is crucial- especially right now, in a time where we have evil people in power telling us otherwise. 
          everything is that deep. racism kills. transphobia kills. homophobia kills. it isn’t “woke” or stupid. those things are equivalent to and born from hatred.

final thoughts on the odyssey movie
          
          - charlize theron, though i love her with my whole heart, did not do as well as i hoped
          - the athena scenes felt extremely random and lowkey kind of forced
          - anne hathaway absolutely devoured
          - a lot of the emotional scenes were really flat, same with the action sequences- there was a consistent theme of monotony 
          - best performances of the film have got to be robert pattinson, anne hathaway, matt damon, himesh patel, and samantha morton
          - tom holland’s performance wasn’t bad but it was undeniably awkward
          - the entire thing was so aesthetically pleasing- absolutely beautiful shots 
          - although i do love mia goth and i think she’s an incredible actress, this performance just didn’t highlight her talent
          - i would’ve loved to have gotten more deeeeeeeply emotional scenes. i think the penelope/odysseus first meeting was well done and so was the curve/odysseus interaction, but the penelope/telemachus scenes felt dry and the calypso/odysseus scenes were just kind of bad overall 
          - the lotus flowers were so obviously colored…you’d think they could at least color them nicely?
          - costumes were teaaaa. helen, agamemnon, penelope, and antinous’s were absolutely PERFECT
          - overall; slightly disappointing. beautiful visuals throughout. good acting, dry scenes, and monotonous.

using ai for your stories or covers is gross btw 
          if you can’t be creative on a site where the entire point is to be creative then get out

when you find an incredible looking fic but the it doesn’t do line breaks every time a new character speaks so you can’t read it
