He should’ve left her alone.

Chris fights like he has nothing to lose.
Alysa lives like everything is already decided.

They were never meant to collide.

But now she’s in his head.
          Under his skin.
In every bad decision he makes.

And he’s the one thing she can’t control.

          They don’t fix each other.
          They don’t save each other.

They ruin each other—slowly, beautifully, and on purpose.

And neither of them wants it to stop.

I read this sentence in ' "Broken Mirrors (soft under my knuckles)" by
Clickclick (TotallyARealPerson)' on AO3 and it just hit deep. Btw I'm the stoey, marinette says this.

"War is worse than hell," she whispered, an old probably mangled quote from some series she barely remembered. "Everyone in hell is a sinner, they belong where they are. War has non-combatants, innocent bystanders, civilians, children who get hurt in the crossfire. When the dust of war settles, most of the bodies are going to be from the people who had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time."

I read this and I'm like damn my heart hurts. The story is a Nino and Alya salt.
