The ride home was as lively as our town's graveyard. I was glued to the door the entire time, ready to jump out the minute we got to my house or just in case he decided to bring up what Dream Hero had had no problem discussing. I clutched the door handle like it was a lifeline and prayed it wouldn't result in me jumping out of a moving car.

          Hero didn't seem to notice.

It was clear that his mind was somewhere else. He didn't try to talk to me like he had done back in class which was good because all that I could think about was the fact that he had friendzoned me and that he had gotten Melissa's name wrong.

I wanted to correct him so bad that I just—

"It's Melissa." I blurted out the minute I got out of the car. "The girl Donovan's with, her name is Melissa. Not Melinda."

"Okay? Potato Tomato." was his response. He looked at my hand that was still clutching the car door before looking back at me. "Can I go now?"

"It's actually," I chuckled nervously, letting go of the door. "It's, um, tomato—Potato Potato and Tomato Tomato but I get your confusion—"

          "Harley."

          "Hm?"

"Close the door." He muttered and I scrambled to do just that before rushing to get inside so that I could scream into my pillow at how ridiculous I had just been."Harley." He called out once more and I screeched to a halt like an unoiled robot, waiting for him to speak.

"Check your messages once in a while." He mumbled. "Otherwise exchanging numbers would be pointless, wouldn't it?"

Hey! I recently started publishing my story on Wattpad — “Anamika: Sold, but Not Broken.”

It’s an emotional tale about a girl’s journey from being sold as a child to facing a man who only sees her as a means to an end.

If this sounds like something you would enjoy, It would be so happy if you could read and support me ❤️

Heyyy my dear ❤️
          Sorry for posting here.
I know you will ignore this one just because I don't have a good amount of views and votes. It's because I'm a new author and haven't caught readers attention. No one is famous from the beginning, remember it. And never judge a book by its cover.
Please give it a try, I promise you will not regret the decision.

❤️"Because some loves don't begin at first glance
they bloom from old glances never forgotten"❤️

          Hey readers ❤️✨❤️

This bloom is not your typical love story.

It's a journey that started in classrooms and ended at wedding vows.

A tale of rivals, strangers, lovers... and maybe soulmates.

          This isn't just romance.

It's the soft ache of the one who fell first.

It's the slow realisation of the one who fell harder.

          ✨THE STORY✨

          They were the top students.

          Always compared, always competing.

But she was falling in silence.

And he? He didn't know it yet... until it was too late.

          Years passed.

He finally realised he didn't just like her he loved her.

          Still does.

But she? She's no longer the same girl who once believed in love.

Now fate ties them in marriage.

And what follows is a beautiful mess of misunderstandings, rediscovery, healing, and the soft hope of a second chance.

          It carries strength too

with a strong female lead who embodies empowerment, and a male lead who's not cruel, not cold but grumpy, shy, and deeply human.

Sweet yet spicy. Heavy yet healing.

This is for anyone who wants to laugh through love, cry through confession, and maybe-

          fall all over again.

Because someone out there is still waiting for their entangled fate to finally make sense.

And because we don't always get closure.

But sometimes, we get another chance.

And its the story about that chance

          Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.
