@ ATLONGLASTSOFIA  so i told him the other day that we could still be friends bc he said that he was aware he screwed up our friendship then he was saying it was better that he disappears from my life

            SO if u don’t like him back this is what I would say
            
            Start by speaking  from ur own perspective on the friendship and base it off of ur own feelings ofc
            
            my friend acknowledged that i probably didn’t feel the same way about him, and I confirmed that. I basically explained that just because he liked me in that way wouldn’t stop me from being friends with him and i wouldn’t make things awkward between us because at the end of the day he was still my best friend.
            
            i also mentioned that i still hoped that he respected my decision not the date him and that i didn’t have those same feelings for him but i also mentioned that i would still would be there for him and care abt him
            
            
            
            and if you DO like him
            
            
            speak the truth and be honest w him abt ur feelings, don’t be shy
            
            also be sure to think about if things don’t work out, that you don’t wanna lose him as a friend. if you really care abt the friendship/relationship a lot, be sure to mention that in ur guys conversation. talk about what your guys ideal relationship looks like and be sure that you both set appropriate boundaries so you both dont (God forbid) mess with both the relationship and friendship bond that you guys have.
