But you’re here alone.” She stepped closer. “You dumbo,” she sobbed, hugging him tight. “She’s my cousin. And yes... I still remember our promise.” “I kept thinking,” he said, “do I still have a chance?” She nodded, teary-eyed. “True love doesn’t knock twice—it waits at the same door.”
