@ilyeramwrites Title:Toys, Tears & Second Chances
Haniya stood in the toy shop, holding her little cousin’s hand, when he saw her—Hamza.
His breath caught.
She turned.
Their eyes met.
Tears brimmed in his. He tried to hide, but she saw.
“H-Hamza?” her voice cracked.
“Just listen,” he whispered. “You said we’d come here someday… with our daughter. But you’re here alone.”
She stepped closer. “You dumbo,” she sobbed, hugging him tight. “She’s my cousin. And yes... I still remember our promise.”
“I kept thinking,” he said, “do I still have a chance?”
She nodded, teary-eyed.
“True love doesn’t knock twice—it waits at the same door.”
