I still don't understand why most fantasy stories have one super continent in their maps. To those who have those kind of fantasy maps, do you have a lore behind it?

The worldbuilding and magic system of my draft fantasy novel is so rich and complex that I think I'm better off writing an anthology around it before I publish the novel itself
          
          I postponed my updates on it at the moment because I'm finishing my entry for a horror writing contest I'd like to join

It's been so long since I took on hiatus, and my works still have little progression. I've decided to unpublish The Eroudon to finalize its worldbuilding, lores, and magic system, and I'll return it once it got at least a few more chapters, if not yet complete. Same goes to my novelette, Sunflower.

Fro those who have read the old versions of The Eroudon, I wanna say that I dunno what to do with Aster Ceinere anymore. She's important to the story, but I don't like her name :( Now, I'm starting to change her gender back to male (she's orginally named Clarence in the version I wrote when I was in 8th grade.) But there's less female characs in the story :(
          
          Also, I'm not sure how am I going to write the romance between her and Equinox because first, I'm still questioning myself if I'm aromantic. 2nd, I'm Bisexual, and I don't really know how love goes between straight people
