To everyone reading this here on Wattpad, I’m pleading with you—before you post hurtful comments, please think carefully. It’s not just you who gets affected. As writers, it’s heartbreaking to think that our only goal is to make you happy, but what’s happening? Instead of feeling motivated to write, we end up being the ones receiving hate.
I know some of you here are still young and not yet mature. We all have different beliefs, cultures, and countries we grew up in, so please respect that. If you have nothing good to say, then just block us instead.
What hurts me the most is when my identity, my very personhood, isn’t respected. Do you know how painful that is? We pour our hearts into our stories, into this craft, only to feel crushed by the negativity.
I'm not asking for much—just understanding, kindness, or even silence if you can’t offer anything else. Please, let’s create a space where we lift each other up, not tear each other down.
