oh well hello there- long time no see…  if you haven’t already seen, instinct underwent a pretty heavy rewrite. the basic story line is essentially the same but it’s a lot more rounded out and linear - i still kinda hate it, and it doesn’t match my current writing style at all but i feel a bit more happy with it. like i’ve said before i have moved to ao3 with everything else i am writing and wattpad isn’t my main priority anymore - i plan on ending this story here within a few chapters because i want to finish this book and not leave y’all hanging but i really don’t care about it anymore. if you’d like to see other stuff i’m working on tho im selfish_wishes on ao3.

okay so, something that’s going to be happening over the next few days: i’m going to be going through “instinct” chapter by chapter and fixing every single typo and misspelling. i’m going to change stuff up a bit, not necessarily plot wise, but i’m going to do my best to make it a little less cringe. there’s also some details that i’m
          going to change up, specifically plots and details that were mentioned once and never mentioned again. i.e the whole grandma plot at the very beginning, nothing ever happened with that, so imma change that up. other than that, i’ll be very slowly working on the next chapter. i can’t give any guarantee it will be out anytime soon, but i’ll do my best <3.

HEY woah here’s my tiny little blip of being back and active for a day, but tysm for 1k reads, although i don’t really care much about my stuff here anymore, it’s still incredible that anyone cares about my writing. i just published another chapter, and please read the note at the end. i’m not going to re write it here, but it is important if you care about what i’m going to do with “instinct” moving forward.
          
          in other news, i’ve pretty much moved to ao3 with my writing. everything here will stay here, i have stuff in my drafts, and i might just publish them just to have them out there. one of the stories i have in my drafts , i’m actually re writing on ao3, and making it better.
          
          but n e ways, my account on ao3 is selfish_wishes. my works there will be a lot more… professional? not that fanfic is professional but they are definitely gonna be better written, and not in first person.

hey- been thinking about moving to ao3. i don’t really use wattpad anymore, i don’t read other writers fanfics here and… i don’t even update my own shit lol but that’s a topic for another day. i just feel like i’ve grown out of wattpad. 
          
          what i think i’m gonna do is, i still plan on finishing instinct, but i really am so tired of it. it’s all over the place and the pacing is terrible and is just over all really bad. so the plan is, finish instinct here on wattpad, but continue ventriloquiy on ao3. unlike instinct, with this new story i’ve actually got an outline, and a vision of where i want to go with it and feel like i can actually make something decent out of it.
          
          i don’t even have an account for ao3 yet. still waiting for that email confirmation thing but if anyone is interested at all in my stories anymore, i’ll update you on when i have an account there.

Guys i am really struggling with some writers block- like- really bad. i haven’t updated or written anything really in quite a while. I’ll get motivated, start writing, but then after i’ve written a paragraph i give up. i’ve been working on Instinct for well over a year now and i’m just feeling burnt out on it. like, i have moments that i have planned out, and i’ve had planned out for a while but i need more story to get there and i just- can’t for the life of me find the motivation to write. it sucks. 
          
          anyways, idk where i was going with this. just letting people know where my heads at. i have other stories i’m working on (kinda, not really) but i’m just feeling real frustrated. i guess that’s what the point of this is. i’m frustrated and needed to vent ig. n e ways. i’ll go.

thinking about starting another story. it won’t be about The Joker, and i doubt anyone would care to read it but i’ve been feeling motivated to write, but not necessarily about Joker. i’ve been working on that book for over a year now and i’ve really slowed down on updating it. don’t worry- i’ll still continue my current book, but kinda wanna have something fresh to work on. 
          
          actually- the new book will be a slight rewrite of an old book of mine that used to be in this account. i unpublished it just because it was bad but then it disappeared. vanished. poof. one day it was there and then it wasn’t but honestly it had a pretty good story line. it was just written badly and i wish it still existed so i didn’t have to start from scratch but- what can ya do.
          
          n e ways. that’s really all i wanted to talk about. hopefully i can get another chapter out for Instinct soon, but idk how long it will be.

ayy there’s a new chapter out for Instict *wink wonk* if you wanna go read it. i just finished and it’s been almost 24 hours since i last slept so the last like ten paragraphs or more might be total shit and just feel like a fever dream so i’m sorry in advance lmao.

i just published a new chapter for Instict. Now, it hasn’t been proof read yet- so it’s probably riddled with typos and it is kinda... boring... to be frank. not much happens but i do think you should read it, as a new character was introduced that will play quite a major role in the story.
