I haven’t read a new book on here in a long time. Any recommendations?!

Hey! I came across your story and the premise immediately caught my attention. Imani sounds like one of those characters who's intimidating on the surface but probably has a lot more going on underneath. I'm curious, when you started writing her, did you always know she was going to have that hidden, vulnerable side, or did her character evolve as you wrote? Also, I have to ask... who's more difficult to write: someone as emotionally guarded as Imani or someone like London who's trying to balance ambition, admiration, and all that internal conflict?

Honestly, I planned Imani from the start, but her growth has surprised me too. Watching her slowly let people in has been really fun to write, and I think it’ll be even better to read as the story goes on. You’ll definitely see what I mean in the later chapters.

I’d actually say London is harder to write. Imani is pretty straightforward to me because I always know what she’s thinking, even if she doesn’t show it. With London, I have to make sure he stays true to who he is without accidentally making him feel like he’s just there for Imani’s story. He’s the leading man too, and his journey is just as important.

If you’ve already started reading Objection Overruled you’ll notice that I changed Marcus name to Ryan so for future chapter he’ll be Ryan.

Also for you readers who’ve read the book before yes this is a rewrite I’m going for a slow burn this time around and thank you guys for reading ❤️

Hi everyone! I’m back writing I guess you’ve noticed that Objection Overruled had been unpublished. I rewrote to be more of a slow burn so there’s some new character slightly different story but the main character are the same. I’ll publish the first two chapters tomorrow let me know what you think.

Hey loves, I want to be honest with you. I’m in college now, and my schedule hasn’t left me much time for writing. I’ve also been dealing with a lot of writer’s block because it’s starting to feel like work. I write my books to explore fun, empty scenarios in my head, and I love making them enjoyable for you but lately it’s been hard to find that joy.

I’m so happy and grateful that so many of you enjoy my stories and support me. I don’t know exactly when I’ll be able to post again, but I promise it won’t be years. I want to find that spark again and post work I’m proud of and that you’ll enjoy.

For those of you who are still following and interested, I really appreciate your patience. I’m truly sorry for disappearing you deserve better. I’ll do my best to reconnect with my creativity and bring some consistency back.

          -Lea
