Happy New Year everyone.
          As you may have noticed, I stopped updating for a while due to lack of time and motivation. I realised I need to take a real break from writing. Writing for yourself and writing while posting are very different. One comes with freedom, the other with pressure and the fear of disappointing people.
          So I’ve decided to pause for now and give myself some space to rest and focus on other things.

          A little behind-the-scenes:
          Lola is inspired by the 6-star Michelin French chef Hélène Darroze. She started at Le Louis XV and comes from a chef family. Her brother was meant to take over the family restaurant but life had other plans.
          She came to my workplace one day as a guest speaker to talk about teamwork, pressure, leadership, all that stuff. I remember sitting there thinking she was absolutely incredible.
          And that’s how Lola Rochat came to life… with a bit more drama ofc

I just noticed that on the titles of ch 1 and 5 in endless holes the like golf emoji is in front of the words and not after them. Is that supposed to mean something that I’m not catching on???
