I no longer feel comfortable posting on Wattpad because I have heard of plagiarism cases, so I will be removing this work soon. However, since I ranted about it here so much, I thought I might as well share it. It is not completed to me, yet. But I did edit it. Also, please don’t get at me with “everyday” vs “every day” cause for all I know, I messed those up completely. I kept searching it up every time and forgetting a second later which is correct. Let me know what you think – if you do read.

@halcyon_sky_ No that does actually help a lot. I think I used it correctly in most cases then... :D THANK YOU And I will keep my novel up until I finish posting it all the way through. Unfortunately I am more editing TNF, rather than rewriting it. In terms of short stories, I am trying to send out a lot of work to journals, so as soon as I do that, I take them down. I have done that with a few works already. I will still be active though and if there is any particular work someone reaches out to me about – that they hope I can keep on here – I’ll be more than flattered to do so. :)

@immatrytoread ): that sucks. Will you quit posting all together, then? as for the “every day” thing, you use everyday to describe something, and every day to say something similar to “each day”… confusing, but I hope it makes sense haha

I FIGURED IT OUT.
THE ENTIRE SHORT STORY. SO WEIRD AND KINDA BLAND KINDA INTERESTING BUT I WROTE HALF OF IT IN 30 MIN.

Tip that worked: just write non-stop and keep your fingers moving. They know what to do. Writing good comes later.

To everyone who has replied to my rants about not being able to write lately - I appreciate your advice.
I am dropping my previous plot again. It sounds right to me but I just can't get anywhere. You see, when I wrote TTE (no longer published) and when I first wrote TNF, the story screamed out to me. I had to write them. I was excited and it was difficult sometimes but I never wanted to stop.
Unfortunately I only get great ideas a couple times a year. Haha
I have a feeling about a short story (2,000 words I'm thinking), I just have to discover that feeling more. I'll think right now. I'm sure I'll come up with something.

That's an easy way to lose motivation (when your work isn't saved) but I think I'll use this to think my story through more. The problem is I only have good beginnings - figuring out the rest of a good story isn't something I can do without writing it.
Unfortunately that is very frustrating because it's easy to make your plot suck. I'll just not think about writing right now (because if I do I'll just beat myself up about not having written in a while) and look back over it today evening or so. :)
Worst case - I start a new story next week.

Plotters - who outline their plot and then flesh out the bones
Pantsers (me) just write by the seat of your pants and fix it all later
No one type is superior
An editor once told my writing class : I can’t fix a blank page
She advised us to “mind dump “ everything down and then start structuring the plot, etc

Found my short story idea! Definitely not the entire story (I figure that out as I go), but will get the first 1,000 words down today (almost there :D).
Quite strange, I must say... my ideas. Especially the ones I am most excited about.

I'm gonna try to write another short story next week. I've been sick all week (sadly the one week I actually have a summer :/) and I have just about another week before I have to leave for another 1 month program.
And I need to relax. And I need to write. And I need to be productive in the things I do WANT to be productive in.
So yeah, aiming for 9,000 words max. Currently thinking of my next big idea, hehe.
