Hi! I know no one is following me... but I hope to publish my first story by July.  I'll give you a preview: 
          It's about the next evolution of humans. Timon and Nora are the only ones like them on the whole of planet earth . Growing up in a secluded complex in the middle of no where, they have never had the need to escape. Until they are introduced to Jamie, a one week old baby who is just like them, a Homo Proximus. They soon realize their true potential and with visions of lava unlocking something new about the future they decide on a daring escape plan. But having never ventured into the real world, they are unaware of what awaits. 
          (It's 10 pages long right now and I hope to make it around 30 but it will take a few more months).
