⋯⋯⋯⋯  I thought I had to be someone else to achieve my dreams; I thought the art I was creating wasn't enough- that it was copied, stolen, unoriginal, unserious, and wouldn't get me places. I'm starting to realize that every artistic decision in my life was the blueprint. At a young age, I'd spend hours playing with littlest pet shops and filming them one frame at a time, sometimes a long sequence. I'd write unfinished pieces of fan fiction and fantasy about the thrills of romance. I'd lie in bed with my computer working on editing countless frames. I dedicated time and energy into student film projects that may never see the light of day. Through all of it, a lesson has become known. Every skill, every interaction, every disappointment, every brainstorming session has prepared me. I am choosing to return to this platform to do what I love, to make other's stories come to life, to rebuild myself brick by brick and smile at the hard work paid off.
