oops new oc time!!!!

Laura "Lu" MacNamara is a college intern for Oscorp working on the second gen of spider research as their araneology consultant. Lost, sunken and sullen, she wanders the world alone, comes home to an empty altoid-tin apartment with all the lights off. She has the rare gift of seeing everyone else's connections to one another through a long red string. All except hers of course.

Well, that is until she blinks, looks down and sees the weightless and untangled string wrapped around her.

Why now, after 21 years of a strange and isolating gift would something there pop up that hadn't before? And why does it lead to a strange and secretive (and very cute and nerdy) young man two floors down from her?

This happened to me once, except I actually posted mine once and my roleplay partner had one very similar, but she didn't know about my character. It happens sometimes lol

every time i make an oc for a show i haven't seen in years with a sense of GREAT urgency and need for accuracy. i think back to when my coworker very sincerely asked if i was autistic.

i think it's made me start questioning all of my behaviors. would a neurotypical person do this? would an autistic person do that? and why am i so worried about it??
