Coronavirus really be wildin out here huh

Still alive, not enough time to read usually 

Still waiting on the update where you can follow just reading lists and not have to follow a person

Idk if I’ve written about this before but it’s pointless to continue to read a book if everything is wrapped up and there’s no more plot. Like I just read a book that was wrapped up in 3 chapters and there was 30 more?? Why would I continue to read when it’s already a happy ending and the plots been solved. The only way you should actually continue is if there’s a character who isn’t fully introduced or something that is building in the story.

Btw all of my reading lists are kind of under construction right now. I had an old acct and I have to reread and resort all the books again so I only have all the good ones saved. The only reading lists that are set are THE FEELS ARE REALS list and the ones that say updated

A lot of the books I used to like a few years ago are actually not as good as i remember and it’s kinda sad

Why do authors constantly feel the need to make a woman other than the main character seem like a terrible person based on her looks??? You shouldn’t hate on anyone based on their looks or how they live their life, it should be the fact that they just have a crappy personality.

I appreciate it so much when an author thinks about the plot line before continuing the book.. sometimes I start reading a book and after the first major storyline is done, the author just writes in literally the day-to-day stuff for the characters which doesn’t matter unless it’s connecting to the second storyline. 

Just finished reading The Great Gatsby for my Novel class at school... it’s a solid book. I didn’t know what it was about when I started to read it and it surprised me in that sense.
