@flat7ined ⟢ no, no it doesn’t. [ it’s evident on yurei’s face that he’s shocked himself, maybe frustrated. although he usually wears only one expression, which was nothing, but only his brows would slightly knit together. ] you’re hovering again, mr. kane. it’s hard to think.

There’s no need to be so tense,

@flat7ined ⟢ and i’m so afraid, mr. kane. of all threats, that’s the one you’ve chosen. [ yurei disregards the look on the businessman’s face. it doesn’t bother him, or at least, it’s not enough to have his skin crawl the same way it usually does when he has to deal with corporate rats. ] /mr. kane,/ [ the name is punctuated, lingering on his tongue as he wondered if it was even in his place to talk back to someone who could flip his world upside down in seconds. leaning forward, eyes flicker up; and then down. ] just buy the burgers, then i’ll offer my time again the next time you visit. i’ll think about that offer, but i’m not keen about you testing neuralware on me. in fact, i might actually rather die. that’s not a promise though.

[If it’s even possible, the corpo’s face scrunches up even further. It’s all flesh and meat—save for the optics that are scrutinizing Yurei, offended by the offer.] . . .No, I’m paying. If you argue with me, I’m jabbing my finger in your nostril, Yurei. [The small, polite smile re–appears,] Well, you know me so well, it’s heartwarming. ‘Course. I’m not being nice just because. (¯▿¯) Be my test subject. It’s just for a prototype . . . which may or may not be neuralware. It won’t be so invasive or unsafe, I promise. (Maybe?)

@flat7ined ⟢ i didn’t mean it that way. [ yurei adds, jaw tightening as his lips draw into a thin line as he thought. ] poisoned? [ almost sounding offended, were his sandwiches that bad? although it wasn’t like he learned any proper culinary even once he had gotten older. ] just order, i can pay. unless your offer doesn’t come with any favours i have to make up for later? ᵀhe ghostline operator, YUREI (幽霊┄REALNAMEUNKNOWN) emerged from the Arasaka Kuroha Institute. A shadow facility buried beneath the rust-choked cargo zone in Chiba, Japan. Officially decommissioned, the site was in reality a deniable R&D ward for Arasaka’s darkest neurotech projects: prototype netrunners. He was never offered a name, but a number as an experiment in cognitive warfare. Raised by rogue AI handlers, and dissident Arasaka scientists who viewed humanity as just the starting point. Yurei knew how to navigate the net as if it were like breathing, and by twelve, he was able to breach high-tiered corp vaults just for testing. However, when he turned fifteen, Yurei quickly vanished from the Kuroha system during an internal failure event that wiped the entire site’s grid.

Now, he’s a naturally rumoured runner. Seeking surgical grade intrusions to the highest bidder, leaving no traces behind as if a ghost.

Contact him using the phone line +8209 555 3018: His specialities include silent infiltration, deeper data siphoning, cyberware hijacking, infrastructure ghosting, etc.

` does brooding make you feel at ease? It doesn't do much for one's appearance .

` clearly, you weren't that deep into thought to be disturbed so easily. ` her shoulders raised briefly, a hum of dismissal following suit. slender fingers delicately traced his shoulder, pinching at what seems like dust before crumbling it between her thumb. ` what ever has plagued your mind this time ? `

@necromos, it does allow one to think. though it’s unclear, when i’m interrupted. [fingers nestle beneath the dhampir’s chin. golden irises settle on the otherworldly thing, not much revealed alone on his expression though it draws into a thin line.] but, i suppose it doesn’t.
