i don't understand the whole proship vs anti debate. it makes no sense to me. if you don't like something, you can quite simply filter it out and / or unfollow people who post stuff that makes you uncomfy. i hate endeavor and overhaul. i hate snape. do i go out of my way to be hateful towards fans of those characters? absolutely not; thats nonsensical. of *course* dead dove writers don't condone the shit they write about; did anyone read stephen kings IT and immediately go "oh so you condone child murder? csa? huh?" The answer is no, because that's ridiculous. why do fanfic authors get that treatment? also, not to mention, but dead dove is a term coined for super fucked up *vent* fics. nobody writes that shit "just for funsies." if they claim to, they're probably in denial about needing help / an outlet. plus, it's not an authors responsibility to take care of your mental health. take responsibility for your own life

just got blocked by one of my favorite ao3 authors bc i (stupidly) was giving critique on their work, and had asked about their experiences with disabilities. i wish i could apologize. guess this is what i get for commenting while out of social energy
