            oh  ?  alright then, what is it  ?  *  kira asked,  quirking an eyebrow, lilac hues filled with a bit of confusion.  his gaze was quick to change though,  the actions of the other drawing his attention,  breath silently hitching in the back of his throat.  he practically had to force himself to look away,  swallowing thickly as he listened.  it didn’t register with him right away,  taking a moment to settle in before his eyes widened  *  i  —  i’m sorry  —  what  ?  *  a slight tremor was mixed in his voice  —  he knew what melone was asking,  he just didn’t know how to respond.  he felt his heart suddenly spike as hands suddenly touched his face,  freezing in place as he looked at the other.  an anxiety was creeping up inside of him,  cheeks slowly turning a light pink  *  i  —  *  he began,  stopping himself from leaning into his touch,  gritting his teeth whilst his eyebrows furrowed.  he didn’t know if melone was actually being serious or not  —  it was starting to mess with him  *  i  —  i don’t know  . . .  i’ve never  —  *  he tried to say,  but it was hard for him to get the words out,  attempting to pull away from his hold subtlety  *

            oh,  di molto,  kira!  and glad you've been out*  he exclaimed,  moving to kiss his cheek before stopping himself and leaned back,  *  actually,  let me ask you something,  kira.  *  he spoke as his gaze went down to his gloves and began to peel them off.  *  do you..  like me?  in a romantic sort of way,  i mean.  not in a,  “  oh,  yeah-  you're my best friend.  ”  type of way.  you know?  
            
            *  he spoke almost timidly towards the other,  his words were lies and he knew it,  but he still wanted to play along.  he stepped in front of him and placed his gloveless hands onto his face,  pulling him closer to himself as he continued to speak.  *  
            
            because i..  /  really  /  like you.  i really,  /  really  /  like you.

            ah, hello melo  —  *  he began before catching himself,  falling silent for a second before continuing  *  sorry.  i mean  —  hello mel. *  kira answered quietly, letting out a hum afterwards as he thought for a second  *  i’ve just been  . .  out  &  about is all.

            *  eyes widened at the sudden force,  head whipping to the side as a sting ran across his face.  he remained silent,  the throbbing in his cheek making him wince whilst a gloved hand gently brushed fingertips over the area  *  you’re the one who approached  / me. /  you insult me  &  then proceed to hit me when i’ve done  . . . nothing. i don’t understand you sometimes. 

*    she didnt bother being polite this time , her hand instantly swinging down into an open handed slap across kira's impeccable cheekbone   *   go back to la squadra where you belong .

            ah,  i will!  i'm just..  testing things out,  i presume.  *  she let out a soft laugh,  a hand going up to tuck some hair behind her ear before crossing her arms across her chest.  *  but,  did you  /  really  /  like it that much?  i was just putting things together whenever i made it..

            *  he seemed to relax after that, a faint sigh of relief slipping past his lips  *  alright, good  —  *  he said with a slight nod, giving her a small smile afterwards  *  &  i did. i thought it was good. if you’d be willing to, it would be nice if you made it again sometime.

            yes  ,  i thought you've already known about this  ,  kiki  .  *  bellissa was quiet  ,  her eyes glancing down at her hands and bit her lip while she stared at him fondly  .  *  but  ,  this will sound downright idiotic  ..  *  she let out a low laugh  ,  a hand going to brush a piece of hair behind his ear  ,  *  do  ..  you feel the same  ?

☞  id. @passionemobs  ᜰ  * it didn’t fully register with him when he first heard it, looking over towards her as he remained silent. he thought about her words, replaying them in his mind before they finally hit him. lips parted slightly as a quiet gasp was elicited from him, eyes widening as his face flushed  *  you  .  .  .  like me  ?  *  he said, the words slipping out of him sounding so unreal to him. he felt something bubble up inside of him, the shock settling in as he moved closer towards her  *  y  —  you’re being serious, right  ?  you actually really like me  —  ?

☞  id. @visolone  ᜰ  *  his eyes slowly gazed over towards the other, merely quirking an eyebrow in response to what was being said. it took everything in kira not to roll his eyes, simply opting to keep a blank face for the time being. his attention was then shifted towards his outfit, looking it over as he furrowed his eyebrows  *  horrid  ?  *  he repeated in a questioning manner as he thought: was it really / that / bad  ?  maybe melone was just being melodramatic, letting out a quiet sigh. kira didn’t exactly desire to go out, but he had nothing else to do  *  hm, fine, i suppose. i guess i’ll go along with this just to humor you.
