            you  have  to  decide  if  they're  the  type  of  person  you  want  to  see  another  side  of.     {  easier  said  than  done.   gale  knows  better  than  to  believe  that  trust  is  something  easy,   disposable  and  free  like  tissues  at  a  funeral  home.    she  knows  better  than  to  believe  that  the  worst  people  will  show  their  face  right  away,   knows  better  than  to  believe  that  it's  harder  to  distance  yourself  than  it  is  to  begin  again.   it's  easier  said  than  done,   but  here  she  is,   preaching  to  the  choir  like  she  has  the  heart  to  do  so.  }    for  example,   you'll  never  know  all  of  dewey.   you  don't  know  all  of  me,    and  you  don't  know  all  of  abi  or  randy  or  julie.    does  that  mean  you  can't  trust  us ?

            thanks,   sweetie.   needed  the  ego  boost  after  this  ruined  my  lunch.    {  the  sarcastic  drawl  is  paired  with  the  narrowing  of  cold  blue  eyes,   that  sharp,  ruthless  nature  clicking  into  place  like  a  loaded  gun.  }    i  have  a  little  girl  at  home.    a  circus  is  the  last  thing  she  needs,   and  if  they  get  a  hold  of  her,   she'll  be  pulled  right  in.    i  (know)  neither  of  us  want  that.

            i  agree.   {  for  once.   gale  doesn't  bat  an  eye  as  she  takes  a  seat  in  the  hospital  chair  next  to  sidney,   looking  over  to  the  younger  with  a  pointed  stare.   she  knows  what  rebekah  means  to  her;  unlike  the  others,   she  isn't  blind.   unlike  the  others,   she  isn't  heartless.  }     but  she's  a  teenage  girl  who  hasn't  had  it  easy  since  the  day  she  was  dragged  out  of  the  womb.   you  and  i  both  know  she's  not  giving  up  now.

            it's...   {  family  has  always  been  a  sensitive  topic  for  rebekah.   in  a  fanciful  world  she  can  say  the  words  that  sit  on  the  tip  of  her  tongue,   speak  of  a  wannabe  reporter  with  a  name  faker  than  the  surgeries  used  to  make  her  look  like  an  entirely  different  person,   like  a  tummy  tuck  can  take  away  what  she  did.   she  doesn't  want  to  say  her  name,   but  it  spools  at  the  tip  of  her  tongue  and  waits  for  sidney  to  take  the  thread.  }    my  mom.
