Okay so I wrote the first chapter of my new book but for some reason i feel like it’s SO shit ??? Like when i read it back, it looks like this in my brain:
Character says this. Another character goes over here and does that. Character is this. Character thinks that.
It feels so surface level and I can’t tell if it actually is, or if it’s just me being critical cos I’ve lacked imagination for so long ahhhh

@infusionate that's so relatable. Honestly, I'd recommend taking a break and read or watch something. Of course, I'm not as fantastic of a writer as you, but I hear it's a good way to help. But trust your gut.
