⠀ ִ ִ ❛ @arachnds ‽ : claire.. i don’t think you understand where you are. you— you got out. you escaped.. you’re not there with (her) anymore. you’re here with me. [ there’s a hint of desperation in her tone, eyes carrying a soft expression that she hopes is convincing, if only to get claire inside the house without thinking she’s being locked there. hesitantly, she’s reaching out to gently take the heroine’s hand into her own. ] you came home.. you made it back.

i… there’s nowhere to go. i’m stuck here, but you— you have a chance. [ the words seemingly getting stuck in the back of her throat as the heroine tries to restrain from crying. it’s a seeping realization to her that she may never escape though… she already has. a whirlwind her mind is, not being able to tell what day she is to where she is. ] i know you wouldn’t lie to me… i know you wouldn’t. but it’s— it’s not safe.

⠀ ִ ִ ❛ @arachnds ‽ : claire.. [ she starts, eyes following the direction of the lewis’ finger, unsurprisingly finding nothing there but the neighbor’s door. if it wasn’t clear before, it’s surely clear now. claire doesn’t know where she is. ] why don’t you just.. come inside, okay? ill show you.. it’s safe in here. no one’s going to catch me, or you. i promise. and you know that.. i wouldn’t lie to you, don’t you?
