But the book is so cute!
Its about this indian american teenager who wants to visit india, but her mother wont let her

basically my school has this thing where we contact organizations that help charities, and then raise awareness, money, or a supply drive.
this one girl.
we have rly similar academic achievements. we both are super smart. we're both telugu. we are constantly asked if we're sisters.
she chooses the same project as mine.
I already sent my email to them. She knows I was doing that and claims "Yeah but I rly like this organization and I'm not giving it up"

just barges in on our friend group after a year of being a bitch and decides everything's fine? it's not. i remember it all.
then everyone in my friend group decides to believe her when she says it's wrong of me to "ask her to change her project"
I didn't.
I asked if she could change her organization, and go to one of her 8 BACKUPS.
She was one of the only people that chose a backup. I wasn't.
And somehow it's all my fault for doing a UNIQUE project that's close to my heart and wanting to do something off of wha tmy brother did.
I can't even drop her friendship. She's just so annoying but another friend of mine will turn on me and that's when everyone's gonna start judging me and hating me and FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUUUUUUUCK

@ink_chai_and_rain oh my god no, I hate when things like that happen, but honestly? You'll get through it. I've had so many times where I just wanna punch the flip outta my friends for being so close minded and taking everything so seriously, but in the end, we're friends so we make up for it after we sulk a little. It'll blow over, and if you find they're not being respectful? Try making new friends, don't drop them all of a sudden so that they turn on you, but start letting them go little by little, until you've found friends that supports you for who you are, and if you don't have any friends you can rant to, you were so right to come rant here. Ugh I'm getting all sappy, I hate when my inner caring comes out- ANYWAY HOPE YA GET THROUGH IT! :)
