Wishing y'all a joyous Mahashivratri!

(Although I am a bit late...hehe, forgive me, alright?)

Now, I wish to share something that I attempted for the first time...a psychological mystery-thriller!

Yes! Chapter 1 of my ONC 2026 submission is officially up.

This book began as a response to two prompts... but it slowly turned into something much darker: a story about absence, perception, and the quiet ways power operates in ordinary spaces.

          	If you enjoy:
          	• morally ambiguous narrators
          	• psychological tension
          	• academic settings
          	• subtle social commentary

          	— You might want to give this one a try.

There’s also a poll at the end of Chapter 1 because I’m genuinely curious how you’re interpreting the narrator.

          	Read slowly.
          	Notice what feels… slightly off.

Hey,

I’m still on break from my ongoing long-form projects until June 1, as announced earlier.

During this time, I’ve completed a short, self-contained haiku collection and will be publishing it shortly. This is a standalone work and does not change the status of Under the Mango Tree or Over the Railway Tracks, both of which will resume after my exams.

I’ll also be sharing a short novella written for a time-bound contest (ONC 2026).

Thank you for your patience and for sticking around while I experiment, learn, and grow as a writer.

Hi
I’ll be taking a short break from writing until **June 1st** due to exams and academic commitments.

Writing is something I care deeply about, and I want to return to it with the time, clarity, and focus it deserves rather than rushing updates during this phase.

Thank you so much for reading, supporting, and engaging with my work — it truly means more than I can put into words. I’ll be back soon with renewed energy and better writing.

          Until then, take care.
          — Inked Tulsi
