Author’s Note
Hey, everyone.
I honestly don’t know how to say this, but life has been really hard lately as an ENGENE. There have been so many things going on behind the scenes, and it’s been affecting my writing more than I’d like to admit.
I really want to finish my current work so I can finally start writing my main book. I’ve spent so much time planning it, thinking about it, and pouring my heart into every little detail. It’s a story that’s incredibly special to me.
But lately… I’ve been feeling a little lost.
Sometimes I feel like my story isn’t reaching the readers it’s meant for. It doesn’t seem to be getting the recognition I hoped for, and I can’t help but wonder if maybe it’s just not the kind of story people are looking for. I know not every story will be for everyone, but it still hurts when you’ve given something your whole heart.
I’ve tried my best with every chapter, every scene, and every word. Yet I still feel like something is missing. Maybe I haven’t found it yet. Maybe I’m just overthinking. I don’t know.
There were moments when I even questioned whether I should keep writing. But every time I think about giving up, I remember why I started in the first place. I write because I love creating stories. I love making characters who feel real and worlds that people can escape into.
So… thank you to every single person who’s still here. Whether you’ve been reading silently, leaving comments, or simply waiting patiently for updates, I appreciate you more than you know.
I hope you’ll continue this journey with me. I promise I’m not giving up on this story. Even if it takes time, I’ll keep writing until I can tell the story exactly the way I imagined it.
