The books I have up on here were started when I was 14 or 15 years old. They’re cheesy, they’re dramatic, and there’s lots of spelling and historical errors- please keep that in mind while you’re reading, that it is quite literally the work of a 14 year old girl.
That being said, the plot and story ideas were all also created by my 14 year self. I’m 20 now. The book I’m writing is really not my personal style anymore. Obviously I love what I’ve created and I’m proud that it’s had its mild success on this little book app and I’m so thankful for all the friends I’ve made through it! I know a lot of you are still devoted readers and it’s so sweet to see you enjoying the stories! However, please be patient with me- I want to finish the series, I really do. I feel terrible leaving everyone hanging, especially after two full books and multiple cliffhangers- it’s not a good feeling. But when I started this page, I was literally a child, and now I’m an adult with less time, creativity, ideas, and completely different passions.
That being said, thank you for being so patient when it comes to my updates. Sorry for everyone who’s waiting<3

I also want to mention- the plot of this story was entirely 100% a product of a “condition” called maladaptive daydreaming that I had as a kid. If you don’t know what that is- look it up! I was super creative as a kid and ALWAYS wanted to get the stories I made up in my head out onto paper(or screen) and that’s what I did with this series! Everything was always created spontaneously, no planning or thinking ahead involved, I could decide that I wanted to write, turn my imagination on, and just write 4 chapters at once. A big difference between kid me and adult me is that I actually do not experience maladaptive daydreaming much anymore! (Sometimes, but not nearly as much as then) Its actually really sad to not have this explosive creativity switch that I could just turn on in my brain anymore, but people grow up and grow out of things like that. Now I actually have to think and plan ahead for chapters, think of the plot, dialogue, where I want the chapter to lead to later on in the book, etc. And that’s very time consuming for a college student who’s working full time- especially when it’s no longer something I’m as passionate about as I used to be. That being said- I’m really struggling to think of an ending for this book because I no longer have maladaptive daydreaming to rely on to create a detailed and interesting ending like I used to. I’m honestly torn between two endings- one that favors jack and one that favors emmet. I’ve actually considered writing both- I’m just afraid I won’t have any time and it will be more on top of my plate. Sorry to write you guys a novel here in the discussion board- I just wanted to get on here and explain some of that since I never really have before.

Hey guys! My books have not been abandoned or discontinued, I’ve been dealing with 30-40 hours a week of work plus university! I’ve also been dealing with some funky mental health stuff, so I’ve kind of just been on an extended hiatus sort of thing. This being said, I’d love to hear how you guys think the series might/should end!! I am so torn between two endings right now.

I really want Emmet and Juliette to get together again. They have their son and they are just so cute together but unless Juliette were to leave her royal life I just don’t see how she could be with him without the backlash, even if max abolishes slavery like promised in the second book. I also want Jack to have a happy ending, but I feel like for now that happy ending would have to include Juliette and if Jack has his happy ending then Emmet will not. Plus I feel like the only way Juliette and Jack could be together is if Emmet were to die or something after they agreed they can’t be together cause Juliette is depresso without him. Ahhh

hey! im trying, i’ve been dealing w some tough mental health stuff along with working 40 hours a week and also being a full time student so updating isn’t always my first priority but im trying:) im hoping to get a few more chapters out this summer
