          I just watched the last episode of season five, and I have mixed feelings about it and the whole season. As someone who is a massive fan of Stranger Things, ( and still is) this season just wasn’t it for me. The majority of it felt like I was watching a different show, and the writing was very different from the previous seasons. Like some aspects and some scenes felt like Stranger Things but at the same time didn’t. 
          
          I felt not emotionally connected or involved in the entire season which left me feeling frustrated as I expected more. I think my expectations should’ve been lowered when volume one came out, but the whole time I was trying to convince myself that it would get better and I’ll eventually grow to like it. 
          
          As for the ending, El didn’t deserve to die or have us the “audience” interpret what really happened to her. To me, I feel like El is one of the if not THE one deserved to have a happy ending. That poor girl’s life was filled with pain, loss, sadness, suffering, and unfairness. And when she did get a glimpse of what could be a happy life, it was cut short. 
          
          Her ending was cruel. Point blank. 
          
          In conclusion, this season left me underwhelmed and disappointed.
          
          This is just my personal opinion and it is not meant to bring down or dismiss your feelings about this season and episode. All that matters is how you feel about this season and nothing else. 
          
          
          

Finally watched True Beauty on Netflix and it made me ugly sob like 4 times ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡
