sneak?!  he had been walking when suddenly he was being attacked!  it's not his fault his steps are silent.  instead of voicing this he gave a few rapid nods  ,  borderline panicking.  "yeah  ,  got it!  sneaking?  a thing of the past!  from here on its  ..   it's a new me!"

            his rinkaku was drawn from his lower back , the tendrils pointed , almost ready to strike . luckily kaneki had managed to stop himself , just barely , but enough to give the stranger leeway to flee ,「 you can’t sneak up on other people like that . . you could’ve been a fatality . 」

"through the door?  not the most secure lock!"  another laugh  ,  another step.  his smile wide as he took in the others appearance.  "honestly  ,  part of me thought you were a myth  ,  but here you are!"

            rough , that was a funny way of putting it , like the blood splatter on his mouth of his mask wasn’t making it obvious he had been eating . he couldn’t help it , it was a matter of survival ,  「  . . . how did you get in ? 」

            a protector of the planet , the self described title reminded him of books he would read as a kid : idealistic and pure fiction .
            「 eyepatch . 」he replied , introducing himself with his own moniker , his own disposition no less cold and calculating . to get the attention of a ‘ hero ‘ , kaneki nearly felt flattered .
            「 you said you’re a protector , but i’ve never seen you before . you’re only a protector when it suits you . 」

    my  name  is,   omni-man.     *    OFFERED  THE    being   with  a   demeanor  one   can   only   describe  as   ..   cold.   unfriendly,   maybe  terrifying  to   some.  something   is   feral   and   untamed  in  his  eyes.    he   hovers,   air-borne  and   staring   intensely.     *     i'm   the   protector   of  this  planet.

            「  i could ask the same thing about that . . costume you’re wearing . ghouls don’t fly , and i doubt a dove would be this bold . 」he half muttered to himself as he thought , the tendrils of his kagune sprouting out . should he run ? no . . this could be an inescapable situation .
            「  the mask keeps me safe , keeps everyone safe . 」the half ghoul finally answered , he would be dead otherwise .
