To all my readers riding with me on this journey,
I wanted to take a second to address why I’m pushing these chapters out for Dues Paid so fast. Some of you might remember that my last project, Scars, took a whole two years to finish. It was a long, heavy process, and I learned a lot during that time.
I started writing Dues Paid immediately after Scars because I wanted to have everything ready to go. I wanted to be able to drop these chapters back-to-back-to-back so you guys could experience the full weight of the story without the long waits.
But honestly? It’s also because I’m ready for a change of pace. By the time summertime rolls around, I want to be moving in a different direction.
I’m looking forward to writing some different shit—specifically, a healthy romantic relationship between two healthy people. After spending so much time in the trenches with these intense, complicated dynamics, I’m ready to explore what love looks like when it isn’t a battle.
Thank you for staying tuned and supporting the vision.
