Do you ever see something so bullshitty you want to punch someone? I was reading the reviews for a book called The Butterfly Garden that I read like a year ago. Someone was ripping on it because apparently the girls had no common sense... Jesus christ. Okay as a summary, these girls are trapped by a middle aged man called the Gardener who has this huge enclosed dome. It kind of resembles a butterfly garden at a zoo. He kidnaps girls from 16-20 and tattoos butterflies ont heir back then rapes them and treats them like possessions, until they're 21 (too old) and then he kills them. The only way out is through the door and none of them know the passcode. This guy was yelling at them for not attacking the man and for playing along like they were in a teaparty. Keep in mind, they had no way out. If they attacked him, he would die and they would starve to death in the garden. Since they can't get out either way, it makes a shit ton more sense to play along than get beaten and raped for trying to attack him. That review made me want to kill the person so much omg. Clearly didn't read the book.
