Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm a reader, a writer; I'm one who plays music, one who listens to music. In reading, I find myself being brought into another world. And so, I tend to like stories that have settings set in times I can't imagine, places I cannot even begin to fathom. Yet the story I read should have such description it's as if I'm in that place so far from our world. Emotion is a factor that brings stories to life also, feelings. When it comes to writing, I also love these ideas. When I'm inspired, I love to just write, to create new worlds that I myself, and hopefully others, can explore and enjoy. As for what inspires me --- movies, events, quotes, people, a fragment of an idea to elaborate on. I love to write.
As for music, I play piano. I try to teach myself to compose. Fingers dancing on the keys, emotion is a force that drives, the music coming beautifully in different styles. It's fascinating, interesting. Listening to music, the spectrum of my preferences goes from classical (tend to like Romantic and Contemporary Era music a bit more, but all eras are respected greatly), to some anime/movie music (especially those played by the piano), to all sorts of bands. Recently I've taken a liking to the band Imagine Dragons. In the more classical-oriented world, I've taken a liking into music from movies like Spirited Away, composed by Joe Hisaishi. It's light and beautiful.
That's a bit about me, the one who loves to read and write, to create a world via both writing and music, be transported into a world via writing and music. :)
