          “Are you alright?” He began, and Mae’s eyes moved up briefly to scan his expression before she pinned her attention back to the papers that were in her hands. He looked at her seriously like the matter of her well-being was his own.
          
          "I’m fine.” She replied rather flatly, keeping her attention to her work. A silent moment passed between them. His gaze softened as he watched her.
          
          Message from the author: I am trying my best to get this out as soon as possible, its exam season (a very intense time for college students) so I'm juggling both this, studying and finishing up assignments. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Chapter is 60% completed.
