I was born and brought up in Southern Africa towards the end of the first half of the 20th Century . For most of my early life I lived in remote places where things like electricity, schools, hospitals and proper plumbing did not exist. After leaving school and university I worked mainly in the field in oil, mineral and groundwater exploration ending up with my own groundwater exploration company in Botswana. Now retired I do a lot of writing and painting and have six books out that I published through POD outlets. I have also produced a family biography from my ancestor's first arrival in the Cape in the 1820's.

I have always had a fascination with African wildlife and having lived so long with it, it forms a major part of my writing. I am also very interested in the reasons it has declined so much and in the changes that have taken place in (mainly) Southern Africa during my lifetime.

I currently have three books on which I am working and am keen to get feedback on a few issues I am facing with them.
