Sorry to say this, but there is really no difference between Nagpal, and writers like you. Both of you have done the same thing. Disappointing your viewers / readers.  You both promised them to tell them a story of their beloved couple and you both abandoned that story midway.
          
          You thank your readers for the love and support they give your books, and how do you repay that support? By letting them down. You say you no longer ship PRANBIR. That's fine. But did you bother to think about those PRANBIR fans you strung along, chapter after chapter, promising them the next chapter, until out of nowhere declaring that you won't further update your stories??
          
          That's a blatant disregard of your loyal readers and followers. I am really feeling glad that I didn't follow you back then and start reading your stories, otherwise I'd be going through the same disappointment today. 
          
          That's the reason I have adopted the policy to ONLY read the completed stories. I really despise the writers that leave stories midway without any reason

@ionlyknowhowtogiggle if you don't mind me asking this, won't your 'one shots' about PRANBIR as a couple only, e.g. The latest one you wrote is about Ranbir realizing his love for Prachi, so that's about their ship only, the pair PRANBIR. 
            
            So how are one shots different from the other two stories you don't want to continue?? Both the things represent PRANBIR couple only.

            I think the point of fanfictions is that we can have our story and own conclusions. Just because show Ranbir is disgusting, a fanfic's Ranbir is written in the same way and then said that 'he doesn't deserve to unite with her' then what remains the difference between the show and fanfiction??
            
            Readers should understand that a fanfics' characters are not completely same as show's corresponding characters. They have to have different habits and attitude that enables that particular plot of the fanfic to take place
