a  quiet  laugh  fell  through  their  lips   ,   a  blend  of  nervousness  and  fondness  shadowing  through  it   .⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   i  just   ...   would  hate  to  see  anything  happen  to  any  of  the  students   .   ❞⠀⠀⠀⠀their  features  furrowed  in  thought    ,   chewing  on  the  inside  of  their  cheek   .   the  third  years  would  be  graduating  this  year   ,   rationally  asuka  knew  that  anything  they  were  assigned  in  here  would  be  nothing  compared  to  what  they   'd   find  outside  of  u.a    .   the  thought  wasn   't   much  comfort   ,   but  maybe  comfort  wasn   't   exactly  what  they  were  seeking   ,   wouldn   't   it  be  better  to  let  the  students  know  what  they  had  signed  up  for   .ᐣ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   ...   although  i  know  they   're   always  safe  in  your  hands   .   ❞⠀⠀⠀⠀and  the  words  were  genuine   ,   naomi  was  probably  one  the  teachers  they  trusted  most  at  u.a   ,   despite  their  clear  differences   .   black  irises  traveled  to  the  other  in  front  of  them  and  their  expression  turned  to  a  fascinated  smile   .⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   a  year   ,   huh   .ᐣ   that   's   ...   rather  impressive   ,   you  guys  must  have  done  well   ,   it  looks  efficient   .   ❞⠀⠀⠀⠀asuka   's   eyes  swept  through  the  area  again  before  trailing  back  to  their  friend   ,   a  hand  being  placed  on  one  of  theirs  warmly   .⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   so   ...   how  does  this  whole  thing  work  exactly   .ᐣ   ❞ 

꒰‧⁺  @memorycardz ˀ          their tail wrapped around their body for them to grab ahold of,    a nervous habit.     but as her favorite worrywart reassured that things would be fine,     her taught muscles relaxed as she sighed.     “can always count on you to make sure things are safe around here.”     naomi tilted their head softly,     fondness seeping through their tone.    they were complete opposites yet somehow they got along swell.     the tiger gleaned with pride,    letting go of their tail and reached over to grab one of asuka's hands,     “it's been my project for over a year now,     'm so excited to place this into the new teaching regimen.    we've had the same courses for a while now,    so why not switch it up?    of course,     ragdoll helped a lot with the designing of it...    tiger too...”      her fangs shown through their smile,     curling their arms around the others arm.     “it means so much to hear that from you.”

there  was  the  faintest  glint  in  their  eyes  as  they  listened   ,   gaze  surveying  the  area  as  much  as  they  could  from  where  they  stood   .   it  was   ...   rather  impressive   ,   actually   ,   but  still  there  were  hazards  in  their  mind  about  what  could  go  wrong   .   even  if  logically  they  knew  that  she  would  never  actually  put  their  students  in  harms  way   .   they  looked  over  to  them  for  a  few  seconds   ,   processing  the  question  before  shaking  their  head   ,   eyes  widening  a  slight  tad   .⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   no-no   .ᐟ   of  course  not   .ᐟ   i  was  just   ...   worried   ,   that   's   all   .   ❞⠀⠀⠀⠀weren   't   they  always   .ᐣ   though  there  was  a  small  smile  on  their  features   —   faint   ,   but  geniune   .⠀⠀⠀⠀❝   it   's   just   ...   i  don   't   think   i   've   seen  anything  quite  like  it  since  i   've   been  here   ...   you  outdid  yourself  again   ,   naomi   .   ❞
