(heated rivalry s2/3 spoilers)
i think shane deserves the most epic crashout of all proportions because he got the worst ending possible. this man got outed, lost his reputation, lost the career and the team he loved over everything else. he never got to tell anyone about ilya on his own terms. and when we did, it went poorly. everytime. he was constantly afraid for all the right reasons, and when the worst did happen... ilya was just relieved. i feel like the fandom doesn't talk enough about how much ilya missed about shane because of his own depression than they do about how much shane missed things about ilya. when the reality is that: shane didn't miss anything, ilya HID it. i don't blame the guy but he never really gave shane the credit he deserves at so many moments. always doubting him, pushing him away, blaming him and resenting him. and shane let him because he felt shitty too. jacob tierney pls pls pls handle my shanebug with care i beg
