@isabellarose29 Part 2:
Now, regarding the “slowburn” part—it hadn’t crossed my mind that the reason for the tag was because of Alexander when I wrote my comment, and after reading your response about it, it all makes perfect sense to me now as to why that tag was added to the story. Fiorella may already be showing “romantic” interest in Alexander, but it’ll take Alexander quite a while to reciprocate, given his situation.
Also, your warning/reminder that Fiorella’s love won’t be tender—since she grew up surrounded by weapons and power and loves to dominate—makes me wonder if their relationship will start off in the realm of questionable consent and only, over time, become genuinely consensual, since the fact that this was emphasized made me think of her taking certain actions that, if committed by a man, would lead to everything from protective measures against him to even his arrest, depending on the severity of the acts committed against his partner. Since Alexander is clearly a very submissive person, he would likely accept a lot that other people wouldn’t because of his personality. Well, this just ends up being yet another reason why her father’s attempt to turn her into a perfect mafia-style wife would have gone completely wrong, since a mobster typically expects to have a submissive wife, and she is anything but that and never would be.
I really want to see how Fiorella will approach Alexander and how she’ll act toward him as they start to get closer, because since her love is of the dominant kind, it seems she’ll win him over in a very unusual way.
To wrap up, once again, thank you for all the replies to my comment, and thank you also for the detailed responses and for thanking him—I’m happy about that. Have a good day / afternoon / evening, wherever you are!
