My novel, "In the Life of Me," actually passed its first anniversary! I didn't realize I had missed the precise date i wrote this book on until I revised the book yesterday after finding several discrepancies. The anniversary went by six days ago.
I was surprised to see how much my writing had improved when I went back and read it. I was able to identify and fix writing errors that my former self would have never been able to do.

It's incredible to think that despite being severely depressed and on the verge of suicide when I wrote all of these chapters, I'm now prospering. These chapters were revised while I was on summer break, taking a break, and gathering my thoughts, and then they were released when I finally got to leave my neighborhood for the first time in months, almost a year.
Reflecting on the last year means taking a look back at both the good and the bad, but I want to concentrate largely on the positive because it helped form who I am now rather than turning me into the typical roles of homophobic, sexist, or just hate-filled society.
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to those who have supported me as I have changed and developed in terms of my viewpoints.
