Hi Suzie,
Thank you for asking. I like how you developed both characters in your story.
Mr Thornton to develop some relationship was something really juicy and I believe it to be quite serious from the other side involved. I'm afraid it could interfere with future relationship with Margaret even though she was really understanding in such a delicate matter.
I like Margaret going to teach at school as I can't see her without any significant purpose in her life.
Also I can't see any real threat from Teddy's side, as I believe John and Margaret were meant to each other, so nothing can really keep them apart now, when they acknowledged their love. Although I was surprised by such thoughtless behaviour (after all story with Henry and John, she should have to known to be more careful with men).
I hope that Margaret will remain strong willed and will freely express herself as she used to do, and she will be independent in her actions.
Please keep writing, I love your story very much regardless the way you decide to go ;)
Warm greetings, and of course awaiting for the new chapters
