Norah once had a peculiar friend. Idealistic. Smart. Bright. Brave. Her name is Lola. They went to middle school together. Lola was the smartest student. She always got high scores. She dreamed of being a doctor and finding a cure. One day. Yeah, one day Lola will achieve her dream.

Except, Lola never fulfilled her dream.

Lola's family were poor. So, Lola had to get married and get a job. Her family needed one less mouth to feed. Soon after the end of middle school, Lola left. And she never continued her studies.

One day, Norah visited Lola. Norah asked, "What happened?"

Then, Lola told her. It's heart-breaking, really.

Lola was idealistic. She wanted to change her life. So she believed in her country's government. She believed in what the politician said. She was... naive. The politicians said, there would be electricity for everyone. They said, there would be food. The end of poverty. The poverty that brought Lola down. Most importantly, they said, there would be freedom.

But, there was no electricity. But, there was no food. The poor are still crying. And the politicians don't care.

          	Where are the promises?

So, Lola cried. But, crying don't solve anything. So, she grew up. She shut her mouth and stopped being idealistic. What's the use? Her idealism will just make her suffer more. She had saw many, many idealistic people disagree. What happened to them?

          	They disappeared.

They're taken away in the middle of the night. Never to be seen again. So, no one dares to disagree anymore.

          	So-called freedom.

"Why didn't you tell me? Or anyone outside this country?" Norah askes.

"Well," Lola answered. "I tried. But, no one is listening. So why should I speak? There's no use."

Then, Norah wonders. How many lolas exist in this world?

Here's a description of my story FOUL PLAY. Hope you enjoy it 😆💛✨️

"You either play by the rules, or you die."

Grace Ridley's main purpose in life is soccer. She plays on the field like her life depends on it, but what happens when her life literally hangs in the balance?

A threatening note is left outside her dorm. She feels someone watching her during soccer practices.

Soon she learns she has to choose between playing by the rules or playing with integrity.

Appleton Hall, the prestigious university in Boston, is the place where every soccer protégé, competitive academic, or rich kid of private billionaires wants to be. But danger and secrets are hiding within the beautifully haunting Appleton Hall.
