ik it's annoying that i come back with an unfinished upcoming chapter but i have to bring out awareness.
women in afghanistan have officially lost their human rights.
and i'm not just saying that they have to conceal their identities w a burka. oh, no. EDUCATION FOR WOMEN IS FORBIDDEN FROM 6TH GRADE ABOVE IN AFGHANISTAN. a period where we, others, have CONTINUED UNTIL 12TH. they won't know what cells' roles will be, how finance is managed, what is an insurance, a deeper dive into geometry.
BASIC HEALTHCARE IS FORBIDDEN UNLESS A MAN APPROVES OF IT OR IS NEARBY. they will have to suffer through colds and flus that might turn into a severe illness.
GROWN AFGHAN WOMEN CAN'T LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT A MALE GUARDIAN.
FEMALE AFGHAN ATHLETES ARE FORBIDDEN FROM DOING SPORTS AND BEING IN A GYM.
AFGHAN WOMEN CAN'T SPEAK UP AND THEY CAN'T LET OTHER WOMEN DO SO EITHER.
this is absolutely horrifying. this isn't just silence; that's forced obedience, that's morbid, this is LITERALLY BREAKING THE UNIVERSAL HUMAN RIGHTS.
they should have the right to speak up. they should have the right to be loud, to be free.
spread this. it shouldn't go unnoticed.
