Hey, ya'll! In honor of season three of Outer Banks coming out tomorrow, I will post the author's note a little early. I might change it depending on the characters introduced. Hey everyone! I was looking through 'Paradise on Earth, JJ Maybank x-reader' and realized that the death of Y/N's mother might be slightly confusing. I sincerely apologize for that. I hope I didn't cause any confusion. Below I have summed up the timeline in regards to the disappearance of John B's father and death of Y/N's mother; this all happens before the first chapter (or if you want to be specific, the pilot episode). 
          
          IF YOU HAVE NOT READ SEASONS 1 OR 2, DO NOT READ THE  FOLLOWING TEXTS
          
          1. Ward Cameron, John Routledge, April McAlister and Ryan McAlister all go and search for the Gold. Mrs. McAlister believes that Ward went against John. On the trek to find the treasure, April confronts Ward Cameron. He lashes out and pushes her back, Mr. Routledge steps in but is pushed by both Ward and Ryan. As a cause of this, John's head hits the side of the boat. April rushes to his aid but is yanked by Ward. The two are thrown overside the boat.
          
          2. Ward orders Ryan to not tell a soul, threatening the life of his daughter and her friends. For all everyone on the island knows, April McAlister was injured in an accident to which she was tossed overboard.
          
          3. A couple weeks later, it is discovered that John Routledge has been missing. They have individual funerals for April McAlister and John Routledge.
          
          4. Nine months have passed and Ryan has married a women named Lynn, replacing her last name as McAlister.
