GUESS WHO IS BACK...
          
          HELLO EVERYONE! This is Hannah, returning to tell you some good news! 
          
          I am finally ready to announce that I AM SELF-PUBLISHING BACK TO YOU!!!
          
          I know I have been inactive from this platform for some time now, but it still has a place in my heart. After all, this is where my novel found its footing. Y'all gave it so much love, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Knowing you all loved the first version so much excites me to give you the final version so very soon!
          
          Also, over on Instagram, I've created the account @hannahreidsandwrites where I am posting updates and insights into the publishing process for my novel!!! It's also where I will be giving updates in the form of "The Publication Diaries" a blog-style project about my writing life. Be sure to head on over and follow it! that is where I will be doing the majority of the announcements surrounding the book as well.
          
          I am so excited to share the new version of this story with everyone, and I hope you love it, too!!!

It’s been an incredible journey, writing Back to You and giving it to you wonderful readers. Thank you for every comment, every vote, and every read. The overwhelming kindness and warm welcome you all gave my story was unreal. Every milestone I hit stunned me a little, and showed me the goodness of God for equipping me with the talent to do such a thing as this. Your guy’s support will stay with me for a long, long time. This isn’t goodbye forever. I’ll see you all again :)

3 days until BTY leaves Wattpad!! :/

I have had a full heart lately, bursting with gratitude, love, and appreciation for all in my life. Past and present. Back to You is included, as is anyone who took the time to come to my cozy neighborhood of Wattpad and give what I had to say a listen. I'm eternally grateful for all of you, because you encourage me even when you don't realize.
          
          That is why this is weird to say... Back to You will officially be taken down/unpublished from Wattpad on January 19th. It's time for the next step, and unfortunately that means I need to give this story a chance, elsewhere. Here's to praying this isn't the last everyone will see of the book! So let's just say: see you soon! From Caliah and Jesse.

HEY EVERYONE!!! 
          
          Okay.. so... here it goes: I need help. For those of you who have read Back to You, I would like to know two things:
          1. What is one GOOD thing about it you especially noticed during your first/second/whichever read?
          2. What is one ROUGH thing you would recommend I look into during editing? CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY, PLEASE. (Not that I've ever had a bad experience with any of you guys.) When I say constructive criticism only, I'm not asking you to be nice and say "No it was perfect!" because I know for a fact this is the roughest draft. Just be thorough and considerate, please :) 
          
          Anyways, let me know what worked and what didn't! It might be something I already fixed, or are planning to. But as I get to the point where no matter how long I step away from it I can't have fresh eyes, I need help!!!

I think some stories are meant to live in our heads. for better or for worse, I think some are meant to be stepping stones, encouragements, helpers, pushing the others to the finish line. but these in our heads do not go to waste. they prove to us, when all other hopes have failed, that we can do this. that small, infinite world moving around in your brain came from nothing. yet you know the fastest way for your character to get to school :') because you. can. do. this. 
          
          so what if it didn't make it to the page? we don't all have the same home. and that's ok. keep it there. maybe in your brain, it stands a chance to stay perfect. not many things can choose perfection *and* survival. kind of cool it might...

you guys !! Back to You is nearing 10,000 VOTES!! WHAAAATT?? I'm so touchedI've said it before and I'll say it again... as recent as three years ago, I wouldn't believe anyone who would've said my book would be seen and loved by this many people. ahhhh this means so much
