Hey Stuff how do surnames work in Indonesia? Cuz I’m developing some OCs, two of which(father and son) are Indonesian-Latino, and I wanted to give them a Indonesian last name but Google is giving me conflicting reports on how they work over there…

Okay so their family is from like Manado and Bunaken and like that area(subject to change bc I know very very little about indon and idk what goes on around there) and like the dads dad is Indonesian but the dads mom is chilean so idk how that influences it uhm
