Anyone watching off campus here? 

Brooo WTF in all bolds coz I just reread something I wrote at the ripe age of 14, and WHY was I writing like a retired English professor on Wattpad 
          
          “Such a significant contrast in my writing abilities” GURRLLL WHAT??? I was speaking like I was delivering a formal speech while simultaneously talking about crushes, secret admirers, and random school drama. 
          
          And honestly, the funniest part is that current me now communicates in the most basic English possible. Younger me was out here writing paragraphs with dramatic vocabulary, while present me just types “bro,” “wtf,” and “T_T” every two seconds. Like frr! 
          
          But lowkey, it’s kinda emotional too. That overly dramatic Wattpad phase genuinely improved my writing so much. Even if the announcements make me cringe now, they also remind me of a version of myself that was so expressive, unserious, and genuinely happy. What an era!! 
          
          14-year-old me may have been dramatic, embarrassing, and slightly obsessed with sounding intellectual but she really had personalityy Haha! 
          

Ahhhh I don't know how to start this but coming back to Wattpad feels like returning home.✨️
          
          This platform introduced me to people from all across the country, people who reminded me that kind hearts still exist, that friendships can heal you even after betrayal and that trust can slowly be built again. Here I found some truly beautiful friendships!  improved my writing, and somehow always felt a little less stressed whenever I opened this app. 
          
          I do feel a little guilty, though. Over time, I mostly used this platform just to share things, and once I found meaningful friendships in real life, I slowly became disconnected from Wattpad.
          
          I know many of my friends here are probably busy with their own lives now, but a part of me still hopes that one day they’ll come back to this app too — and maybe we’ll reconnect again.
          
          I really miss my lovely friends here. ❤️
