hello all! yesterday, i got sparked with a new poem idea and i'm happy to say the finished piece is up for reading now. it's called "what would you do?" which puts you (the reader) in a main character position in this poem. i'd love to know your thoughts :)

Huma, my flower,
          
          Hi. I’m sorry it’s been such a long time. Just know I was always thinking of you. There was always something to remind me of you: that bowl of ruby red strawberries, or the vibrant flower patches that stole the spotlight from everything else in the garden. 
          
          How are you? How’s uni been treating you? Please, spare no detail.

Alhumdulillah I’m so happy to hear that you’re well, and that uni has been good to you! It makes me happy to have bought a smile on your face. I hope I continue to do so. 
            
            Uni has been busy. It’s been a strange time for me, this last year, but Alhumdulillah I’m well. I haven’t had much time to do anything since I travel to uni and back now which leaves me tired as well. I haven’t written anything, though I wish to do so. I’ve always wanted to learn how to use watercolours and oil pastels, but that’s a hobby I have yet to commit to. 
            
            Inshallah, I will read through your works again when I have the chance. I look forward to it.
